Aldarra Golf Club is seeking to fill the position of Equipment Manager, available The Equipment Manager is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the entire fleet of equipment for both Maintenance and Clubhouse operations. The Equipment Manager reports directly to the Golf Couse Superintendent for planning purposes of goals for the week and months ahead. The position is 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) hours can be set by the individual that fills the opportunity. Some Saturdays or Sundays may be required to help the tournament schedule.
Inspect, diagnose, and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel-, electric- and gasoline-powered automobiles, trucks, trenchers, sweepers, rollers, mowers, and other mechanical equipment used in utility work.
Assist in training golf course maintenance workers regarding preventive maintenance, proper cleaning of and safe operation of equipment.
Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work.
Maintains a preventive maintenance program within budget on all equipment, and purchases repair parts and replacement supplies
Manage equipment inventory and assist Superintendent in plans for future equipment replacement schedule
Check equipment in use during the day on the course, makes emergency repairs to equipment on the course, and services or supervises servicing of equipment prior to use.
Oversees the shop area maintenance. Maintain organization and cleanliness of area
Regulates employees' use of equipment in absence of superintendent and assistant superintendent, if needed, and performs other
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Must comply with OSHA safety and standard practices.
Oversees Maintenance facility upkeep and scheduled services (AC Unit, Lighting, etc)

The course opened in 2000 for play and was designed by Tom Fazio. The crew varies in size from 16 - 25 individuals depending on the season.
