GE Turf is expanding their Sales Consultant team in Northern Virginia and Washington DC. We are looking for a motivated Independent Sales Consultant to sell Floratine nutritional and soil conditioning products to clients in the Golf and Sports Turf industry, specifically to professionals responsible for highly managed turf grass. Candidate must be self-motivated and enjoy building relationships.
A successful Sales Consultant will diagnose problems and provide clients with solutions based on turf science and available technology and products. Technical and sales training is provided, however an ideal candidate will have outstanding personal and presentation skills. Some industry experience is a plus.
Ideal candidate should be:
Good at building relationships
A good communicator
Confident and self-motivated
Computer literate/proficient in PowerPoint and Excel or similar software.
Experience including one or more of the following is strongly preferred:
Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
Sports Field Manager
Used Floratine products
Lives in sales territory
Sales experience in Golf / Sports industry
