St. Clair Country Club is searching for an Assistant Superintendent to help maintain an 18 hole, private facility. The Assistant would help lead our maintenance staff in daily course set up and conditioning, some chemical applications and in house improvement projects. The Assistant responsibilities would include supervising and performing various maintenance tasks, including equipment operation and some repair. Responsibilities would also include minimal irrigation work, landscape beds and all general functions of the golf course.
Previous experience or knowledge in the field preferred.
Supervisor experience desired.
Must possess current driver's license and obtain IL pesticide license.
Additional Salary Information: Time and a half for hours worked over 40.

St. Clair Country Club is based on 169 acres since 1911. The club underwent a renovation in the fall of 2013 to the spring of 2014. I am fortunate enough to work at a facility where the membership continually invests in the golf course, equipment fleet and a lot of general improvements. The staff typically runs at 14-15 members during the peak season.
