Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club is looking for a motivated individual to play a key role in our turf management team as IPM/Spray Technician. The IPM/Spray Tech duties will include but are not limited to: all foliar/granular pesticide and fertilizer applications, plus general golf course and common ground maintenance as directed but the Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
The applicant must have (or obtain within 90-days of employment) a Florida Turf and Ornamental Pesticide License. Applicant must understand that he/she will required to work weekends, holidays and overtime (as needed).
Applicants will primarily be working outside under Florida weather environments which may include hot summer days, cold mornings, and rainy conditions.
Physical demands require, but are not limited to: lifting (50#), stooping, sitting, and repetition motions, as needed. The physical demands along with reasonable cognitive and reasoning skills are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Additional Salary Information:
After 60 day probationary period, benefits include: PTO (Vacation after 1 year), health/dental/vison insurance, 401(k), uniforms, and meals.
