The Club at Genoa Lakes in Genoa, Nevada (twenty miles east of Lake Tahoe) has announced an exceptional career opportunity for a replacement for a retired Golf Course Superintendent reporting to The Club Ownership, Genoa Golf Group IV.
The desired applicant should have at least 3 years as an Assistant Superintendent or Senior Supervisor at a public or private course in Eastern California and/or Northern Nevada.
Basic functions and responsibility for all phases of golf maintenance and agronomy, cost controls, and personnel at both 18 hole courses. Works closely, advises and coordinates with the Director of Golf on any issue that relates to golf course maintenance.
Knowledge of management and maintenance of greens, fairways, and roughs.
Knowledge of use and operation standards of equipment and tools used in golf course maintenance.
Skill in recruiting, supervising, training, reviewing, and motivating personnel.
Knowledge of safe use, mixing, and application of chemicals and commercial products.
