Boot Ranch is a Hal Sutton design, located in Fredericksburg the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The property consists of an 18 hole championship golf course, 34 acre golf practice park, clubhouse, private lake club and a putting park (1 acre putting green with lights/speakers). In 2017 the club underwent a successful 3 million dollar renovation including: the construction of the putting park, new bunkers with bunker solution liners, and conversion of 28 bent grass greens to tifeagle ultra dwarf bermuda.
This position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to advance in their career. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of the golf course, including but not limited to: staff management, daily planning, spraying/fertilizing, record keeping and water management. The candidate will work closely with the senior assistant superintendent, superintendent, mechanics and a year round crew of approximately 18. The right candidate will also be helpful in ensuring we continue to have a successful internship program each year.
1 to 2 years as spray technician. AIT or several completed internships.
