| Reports directly to Pro/Manager Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the golf course. Assist the Pro/Manager with all tournaments as scheduled Assigns full time and seasonal personnel duties associated with the maintenance of golf operations Properly train new personnel Shall be actively involved as a participant in daily grounds maintenance and/or grounds improvement, and/or equipment maintenance Operate within the budget as approved for the current fiscal year Make recommendations to Pro/Manager/Board to purchase or replace major equipment and golf course improvements Attend Monthly Board of Directors meeting and give monthly report Keep written report on treatment schedule for greens, tees, and fairways Maintain inventory of small tools, equipment and supplies Shall stay abreast of current golf course maintenance practices Operate a variety of equipment relative to the position which shall include but not limit to: all turf and golf equipment, irrigation systems and tools, hand tools, radios and telephones Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and general public Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner |
