Elks Run Golf Club

18 hole Greg Norman public golf course.

3 acres of greens/4 acres of tees/ 30 acres of fwys. (beginning to convert tees to zoysia)

The assistant will do daily scheduling for crew and help out where needed.  Work closely with a working superintendent. We will rotate weekends, keeping an eye on greens in the afternoon. 

The assistant will help with spraying and will need to pass the Ohio pesticide exam.

I am looking to retire in 4-5 years and would hope to groom the right candidate into the superintendent position. We have a very fair and honest ownership.

I try to keep a relaxed and fun work atmoshpere.  I work to live and realize all of us have a life outside of work.  The candidate should have a understanding of the game of golf and be willing to put their best toward maintaining an upscale public facility.
