 Bronze Buffalo Sporting Club is a private golf club located in the eastern mountains of Idaho. The Assistant Superintendent will report to the Director of Agronomy.  The Assistant superintendent directs and participates in all maintenance of the property.  The golf club is usually open from May until October.  We usually get around 400 to 500 inches of snow each year.  We will be re-grassing the putting greens and greens surrounds this fall.  There will be multiple projects beginning this year.

The assistant superintendent will work with our golf maintenance management team, to manage the golf club at a high level.  We want to give our members the best golf experience every day.  Must be willing to take directions and provide clear and concise directions to employees.  We are looking for an individual that has a professional positive demeanor and is motivated in their career path.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Assist in Agronomic planning and scheduling

Supervise and train employees with proper safety precautions

Responsible for chemical, fertilizer applications and record keeping

Evaluate and motivate golf maintenance personnel

Manage irrigation frequency and repairs

Have a eye for detail with daily maintenance.

Will need to have or obtain an Idaho Turf and Ornamental Pesticide License

Snow removal

Grooming cross country ski track

Qualified candidates should have 1 to 3 years golf course experience

Additional Salary Information: Health insurance, Vacation, Sick days, Golf privileges, Uniforms, Local and National dues paid, Continuing education conferences/seminars, The club is currently acquiring more employee housing.
