- Oversees Toro Myturf preventive maintenance program of all equipment - The program includes the repair of broken or failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment and service. - The Equipment Manager inspects diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in diesel, electric and gasoline powered mechanical equipment used in the maintenance of the golf course. - Routinely sharpen mower blades; disassemble motors and perform general overhauling. - General maintenance and repair of transmissions, differentials, carburetors, distributors, fuel pumps, steering systems, starters, generators, universal joints, hydraulic systems and high pressure pumps and valves; installs and adjusts brakes; installs batteries, tires, wiring and make weld joints. - Frequently makes emergency repairs on the course and routinely makes spot checks of equipment for performance in the field. - Services or supervises of equipment prior to use in and is responsible for shop area maintenance.

- Candidate must be able to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- This position will be 40+ hours per week. Some flexibility may be required depending on certain situations.

- Skill in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repair to old and new equipment. - Ability to diagnose mechanical troubles and determine appropriate maintenance work. - Work effectively without direct supervision under an allocated budget. - Communicate effectively and keep detailed business records.
