Job Summary: Develop, implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all equipment used on grounds. Work closely with the Superintendent to develop an annual operating budget for equipment maintenance. Perform all routine preventative maintenance and curative maintenance required to keep the equipment running and looking good. Establish and maintain proper parts inventory. Keep all daily service records. Keep shop and all appropriate areas clean, organized, and provide a safe working environment for staff
Principal Duties/Tasks:
Schedule and perform appropriate preventative maintenance work.
Perform routine functions of maintenance and repairs of golf course/project equipment; tractors, riding mowers, and hand mowers.
Keep all mowing equipment operable and properly sharpened.
Keep service records on all equipment and major repairs to facilitate historical evaluations.
Maintain shop working area in a neat, orderly fashion and observe working conditions in compliance with all appropriate safety and compliance laws.
Work with Superintendent and Golf Maintenance Crew in training and safety of equipment with the staff.
Maintain appropriate inventory control.
Ability to keep current with industry trends and training.

HS diploma
Experience Requirements
At least 3 years working on golf course equipment and ability to grind reels and bed knives.
