**Equivalent of a General Manger position in the golf course industry
Responsible for providing leadership, work planning, direction and supervision of assigned staff at the Fred Arbanas Golf Course.
Oversees the Administration functions of the Fred Arbanas Golf Course, Longview, Blue Springs, and Jacomo Marina's. Provides advice on the turf & irrigation systems at the downtown Courthouse, Truman Courthouse, Independence Annex and Leon Jordan Park.
Managers program accountability for planning, scheduling, promoting, and administering a full service golf course operation.
Ensures that policies and procedures are effective and provide adequate safety for all staff and facility patrons; coordinates and provides for public relations, through publications, purchase and sale of golf equipment, food products and capital improvement projects.
Provides research and analysis to ensure current facility and program trends are met within budget and operational constraints.
Must have Bachelor's from an accredited college or university, in Parks and Recreation Administration or in a related field
Five years of progressively responsible experience, including supervisory experience in recreation, park administration, business or related field
Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
