The Landings Club is a private luxury golf club on Skidaway Island dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle and resort-class amenities in a vacation setting. The equipment technician reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and/or Head Mechanic and oversees a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. This program includes the repair of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment service. The equipment technician is responsible in making sure all equipment is operating properly. The equipment technician properly communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the Superintendent and/or the Assistant Superintendent. The equipment technician places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building
2-4 years of mechanical experience is preferred
knowledge of small engines and basic tools
operation of small and heavy equipment
ability to inspect equipment and related components for diagnosis
above all, an opened mind, and highly motivated individual willing to learn skills needed to perform
ability to lift at least 25 pounds
