Flanders Valley Golf Course is a 36 hole facility located in Morris County, New Jersey. The Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and assists with the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
Compensation: $18-$23 per hour plus overtime. Up to $55,000 annually based on experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: • 1-3 years golf or landscape management experience preferred • Supervisory experience preferred • 2-year turf certificate or 4-year college degree preferred, but not required • Must possess basic computer skills • Must have a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn • Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail • Must be on time for work, this position requires early morning start times • This is a hands-on position in all aspects of golf course maintenance • Would consider a landscape background individual, assistant-in-training, crew foremen, or a spring 2021 turf graduate
Position Responsibilities: • Supervises and trains employees • Prepares daily work schedules • Works closely with Superintendent in managing the day to day operations • Works closely with Superintendent in preparing short-term and long-term agronomic strategies • Helps calibrate and operate pesticide applications, including sprayer operations • Informs clubhouse personnel about present and future maintenance activities
