The 2nd Assistant Superintendent position involves all facets of golf course management with an emphasis on irrigation, fertilizer/pesticide and employee management under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendents.

The Olympic Club will provide training in:
All irrigation repair, watering techniques and nightly irrigation programming.
Proper use of spray and fertilizer equipment, rate determinations and calibration techniques.
Golf course construction principle, methods, and practices.
Expand upon current knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices.
The Olympic Club will pay for National and Local association dues and continual education expenses.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Ability to interact with Club managers, employees, members, and guests.
Must have a valid driver license and clean motor vehicle record
Must have or able to obtain a California Pesticides License (QAL or QAC) within six months of employment
