Knowledge & Skills Required: · Proactivity, ability to work under pressure, in a team environment with good decision-making skills · Knowledge of working with warm season and cool season grasses · Ability and knowledge of golf course irrigation management softwares would be an advantage · Knowledge of use and operating standards of equipment and tools used in golf course construction and maintenance · Skills in supervising, training, and motivating personnel · Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals and fertilizers · Knowledge of the game of golf and golf rules Minimum Qualifications: · 3-5 years’ experience as 1st Assistant or fully qualified greenkeeper · Degree or Certificate in Turf Management (or related field, like agronomy, horticulture, plant science would be considered an advantage) · Basic computer skills required for communication and reporting of operations · Valid Driver's License · Pesticide Application License · Speak, write and converse freely in English. Knowledge of Greek will be an advantage |
