Assistant Superintendent

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Capable of working with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. 
• Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the profession.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Proficiency in computer use, knowledge of Microsoft Office and other
  applications as specified by supervisor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, members, and outside
  contractors.
• Adept at multitasking and working independently.
• Knowledge of and/or ability to play the game of golf and understand how job
  performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and willingness to learn.
• Effective team player with a positive attitude.
• Efficient at scheduling and supervising maintenance work daily.
• Working knowledge of golf course irrigation systems.
• Ability to calibrate and execute pesticide and fertilizer applications.
• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not mandatory. 

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform manual labor type tasks that would include but not be limited
  to; lifting 80 pounds, standing, walking, and crouching.
• Ability to work in extreme heat, cold, wet, or humid conditions.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Engaging and respectful, with the ability to develop relationships within the
  Blessings Team.
• Honest, a person of character and integrity.
