The Assistant Superintendent reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and will assist with grounds maintenance as it applies to the Golf Course and surrounding landscape areas.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE
Irrigation troubleshooting, repair and scheduling
Pumphouse repair and preventative maintenance
Fertilizer and chemical calibrating and applications
Ability to maintain detailed record keeping
Assist with employee training and supervision when necessary
Course set up and ability to operate equipment
Snow removal during the winter
Any other duties as instructed by the Superintendent
Prior maintenance experience desired
The Assistant will need attention to detail
Be someone who can work independently and, in a team setting
Obtain an South Dakota Commercial Pesticide Applicators license within 90 days
