Dacotah Ridge Golf Club, an enterprise of the Lower Sioux Indian Community, is currently accepting applications for Assistant Superintendent. Dacotah Ridge, located near Morton, MN (2hrs SW of Minneapolis.); is an 18-hole championship layout designed by Rees Jones. The golf course opened in July of 2000 and has been the recipient of many awards and accolades. The course has hosted multiple US Amateur Qualifiers, the 2012 Minnesota Section PGA Championship, the 2010 Minnesota State Amateur, and several other state championships. We will be hosting the 2021 US Amateur Qualifier, the 2021 NSIC Women’s Spring Championship, and the 2021 Dacotah Ridge Pro Am, along with other various events. The course features L-93 Greens, Penncross Tees, and Penn Links Fairways playing to 7,100 yards.
Participate in all aspects of golf course management
Calibration of sprayers, fertilizer spreaders
Application of fertilizers, plant protectants and plant growth regulators
Involved in PGA, USGA, and MGA sponsored tournaments
Assist in operation of the Toro LTC+ irrigation system
Graduate of a 2 or 4 year Turf Management Program
Valid Driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days
Minnesota Pesticide Applicators license or ability to obtain within 30 days
