This is an introductory level Golf Course Superintendent Job. You will report directly to a National Directory of Agronomy who will be on site once a week. Previous golf course superintendent experience would be a plus, but not required. This is a great job for an assistant looking to take the next step. Experience with cool season turf is a must. The course is located in the foothills of the Southern California mountains and is mostly ryegrass/tall fescue with bent/poa greens. Tees are actually Bermuda grass, but all other warm season turf is volunteer encroachment only.
Currently is maintain, or have the ability to obtain a Qualified Applicators License for pesticide application in California. Experience as an assistant superintendent or superintendent.
