Job Description:

  • Supervise the daily maintenance of the golf course, staff and related equipment
  • Prioritize the daily course maintenance tasks according to the weather and play
  • Oversee fertilizer and chemical applications including record keeping
  • Maintain the irrigation system by helping monitor of leaks
  • Train all personnel in the safe and efficient operation of equipment
  • Assist in the safe mixing and application of plant protectants on the golf course

Job Requirements:

  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic prepared to take on hands on job work
  • The ability to read and understand product labels, including the proper use of various chemicals and fertilizers
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Flexible work schedule, able to work weekends and holidays
  • A clean, well groomed appearance per club standards

NOTES:

About Karsten Creek Golf Club
Karsten Creek is an 18 hole semi-private club, which serves as the home course for the Oklahoma State men's and women's golf teams. Course features include Bentgrass greens, Zeon zoysia and Tahoma 31 bermudagrass tees, Meyer zoysia fairways, common bermudagrass rough and a RainBird irrigation system.
