Club Description

The Meadows Golf Course is our 18-hole Member Course. The Meadows Course was redesigned by renowned golf architect Ron Garl in 2004 and is one of the finest layouts in the area, offering six sets of tees with yardage from 4,586 to over 6,700.

We have recently completed the process of renovating the Meadows Course.  Greens complexes, tees, fairways, and bunkers have been renovated.  The course fully reopened in February 2021.

Overview

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent.  Under the Superintendent's supervision, the Assistant Superintendent directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths.  He/she supervises the maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment and does related work as required.  The Assistant Superintendent may serve in the Superintendent's capacity during his absence.

Functions

• Assists in planning and supervising the maintenance of greens, tees, and fairways.
• Assists in creating daily staff schedules.
• Supervises the staff and the use of the equipment.
• Instructs equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment.
• Supervises pesticide applications and/or operates and calibrates pesticide application equipment.
• Supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation, and drainage systems.
• Assists in personnel management, discipline, and evaluation of employee safety.
