Summer Internship

Indiana Country Club grounds department is looking for highly motivated, detail orientated, hardworking, and dedicated individual for the 2021 golf season.  Successful candidate can expect to work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent gaining hands on experience in golf course management.   

Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a 2 or 4 year Turfgrass Program

Currently have or ability to obtain PA spray license or technician license

Job Training / Responsibilities:

Including but not limited:

• Course setup
• Dailey mowing of playing surfaces (hand/riding units)
• Moisture monitoring
• Hand watering 
• Crew management
• Proper fertilizer and sprayer calibrations 
• Fertilizer and spray applications
• Irrigation line repairs, sprinkler head repairs, and electrical troubleshooting
• Drainage line repair and installation
• Tournament preparation
