Assistant Superintendent / Public Service Worker

The purpose of this classification is to perform manual unskilled to semi-skilled labor in relation to the general maintenance and repairs of LFUCG  Parks facilities, equipment, grounds..

This classification works under close supervision according to set procedures.

High school, GED, or specialized vocational training; and, no prior years of experience required; or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Possession of a valid driver's license.

Performs labor-related activities to include custodial maintenance, general landscaping, and minor repairs for parks and other LFUCG properties and/or facilities..


*Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.

Additional Duties:
*May supervise or oversee the work of custodial workers, contractors, trustees and/or seasonal employees.

* May perform administrative duties such as data entry, completing forms, preparing reports or investigating complaints/requests.

* Performs related work as assigned.

EXAMINATION will be a training and experience evaluation from information provided on the application at filing deadline date.
