Position Information 

Position Title: Groundskeeper

Working Hours: 6-2 (M-Th), 6-11 (F), 6-10 (Sa, Su) Position Start Date:                                                                                

Duration of Position: Full-Time                                                  Pay Rate: $12.50 an hour and $13.00 after 1 year of experience

Average Weekly hours: 40                                                                                                                                                                     

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Perform general maintenance on golf courses.
2. Perform trim work.
3. Cut cups on putting greens.
4. Edge cart paths and sidewalks.
5. Repairs irrigation systems.
6. Assist in construction of additional cart paths.
7. Service water cooler stations by providing ice, cups, etc.
8. Remove trash from receptacles.
9. Maintain landscape of courses.
10. Full time presence on the job.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

1. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver license.
2. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Must have the ability to operate greens and banks mowers, rotary mowers, sand bunker machines, tractors, front end trenchers, push mowers, edgers, weed eaters, and various hand tools and machinery associated with lawn care.
2. Must maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with public.
3. Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
