Must have a passion for the turf industry with a strong desire to become a Golf Course Superintendent. Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in Golf Course Maintenance/Turf Maintenance. Knowledge of the use of turf equipment including tractors, mowers, aerifiers, etc. Must be willing to take directions and provide clear and concise directions to staff. Must possess ability to coordinate and complete tasks with limited supervision. Must be a self-starter and eager to learn. Must be able to recognize and solve problems. Must maintain high performance standards. Must be able to obtain New Jersey Pesticide license in a timely manner. Two or Four Year Turf Degree Previous Internships and 2+ Years working on a golf course preferred. |
