The Assistant Superintendent will be involved in and assist the Superintendent and Senior Assistant Superintendent in all aspects of golf course management. Specific emphasis will be on monitoring golf course playing conditions, fertilizer & chemical application, irrigation operation & maintenance, and seasonal employee training & supervision.
College-level training in turfgrass management. Valid WA pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain one within six months.
Three seasons of golf course maintenance employment, with experience in chemical/fertilizer application, employee training and supervision, and irrigation system repair and maintenance.
Desire and motivation to be involved in producing excellent golf course playing conditions.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Additional Salary Information: This is a year-round salaried position starting at $50,000+ DOE. Please state your compensation expectations in your letter of application.
