Equipment/Shop Manager

Job Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance on all golf course equipment within intervals specified by manufacturer.
• Inspect all equipment for operating deficiencies and wear.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues on equipment and perform proper repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records on all equipment.
• Perform proper grinding intervals to maintain a high level of cut, at all times.
• Perform daily checks out in the field and in the shop to ensure quality of cut.
• Purchase and inventory all parts associated with repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Train maintenance staff in proper equipment use, care, and maintenance methods.
• Perform other duties as requested or required.

• Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers when needed.
• Must be able to work as required to complete duties in a timely manner.
• Must be organized and able to perform administrative duties associated with the position.
• Is familiar with and maintains OSHA and other compliances.
• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate with members, guests and co-workers in English.
• Working knowledge of Club policies and guidelines as outlined in Brook Hollow’s Employee Handbook.
• Must Have a valid Driver’s License.
• Flexible work schedule—work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Operation of power equipment and heavy machinery if needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to bend, stoop, and stand up to 8-10 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs.
• Work Independent--able to move about departments and club buildings in a professional manner.
• Must have good or corrected vision to select/stock merchandise and read labels.

Must be able to work in a busy environment.
