Shackamaxon Country Club boasts an 18 hole championship golf course designed by renowned architect A.W. Tillinghast. Shackamaxon was the first golf course in NJ with an island green, still in play today. Originally constructed in 1916, the course is in the beginning stages of restoring many of the original Tillinghast design features. Shackamaxon is a private membership, full service, country club with state of the art amenities.The club is set on 130 beautiful acres directly on the border of Westfield and Scotch Plains in Union county New Jersey.
Shackamaxon has recently transferred ownership hands. Now owned and operated by Heritage Golf Group, we are looking to add members to the team to take the club into the future and beyond while also maintaining the highest level of service to our members.
