Governors Club is a private, 27 hole golfing community with approximately 35,000 annual rounds. The Jack Nicklaus Signature Design was established in 1990. Nestled in the rolling terrain of Chapel Hill, the course runs through and around Edwards Mountain. At 600-feet above sea level, Edwards Mountain is the highest point in the Triangle. The property offers a variety of golfing experiences with three distinct nines appropriately named: The Lakes Course, The Foothills Course, and the Mountain Course.
Governors Club has 31 Champion bermudagrass putting greens, Tifway 419 bermudagrass fairways and rough, and zoysiagrass bunker faces.
