Old Town Club, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is a private 1939 Perry Maxwell masterpiece restored by Coore & Crenshaw in 2014 and is the home of Wake Forest Golf. Old Town has recently been ranked as high as 41st in GOLF Magazine and 98th in golf digest. The course consists of bentgrass greens, bermuda grass tees/fairways/rough as well as broomsedge/little blue stem native.
Old Town is currently searching for a person who is passionate about the golf course maintenance industry. Assistant's in training will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistants where the focus will be on developing skills to enhance and prepare for a career in the GCM industry. Duties will include pesticide and fertilizer application/calibration, transition zone water management, irrigation repair/install as well as being included in management and leadership decision making processes.
