2nd Assistant Superintendent

Concord Country Club is seeking a motivated, career oriented individual to join the turf management team.  Concord Country Club is a 120-year-old private club, featuring a Donald Ross designed 18-hole golf course, 8 tennis courts, pool facilities and a clubhouse for members and guests. Concord historically has hosted several state amateur championships and was the recent host of the 2020 New England Amateur Championship.  The club will be hosting the 2022 Massachusetts Amateur Championship.  The golf course is currently undertaking a new irrigation system which started in October and will conclude in May/June 2021.  This will include a new Rain Bird IC system, a new irrigation storage pond, pump house and pumps.  Along with an irrigation system, the club is in the process of starting a course restoration through a Master plan designed by architect Andrew Green with hopes of starting construction sometime in the fall of 2021.  The candidate will get extensive construction and irrigation installation experience.  The department is located in a 20,000 sq. ft. ground and environmental management center built in 2012.  Opportunity to grow and develop within the organization.
