Our client is a luxury 5 star resort in the Caribbean who is looking for an experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. This is an ideal opportunity to live and work in paradise – tax free life with housing, medical, flights and all expat benefits included.

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent is responsible aiding the Superintendent for the golf course operation and maintenance. The responsibilities include turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, property/asset management, personnel management, budget/forecasting, financial management, guest relations, scheduling/maintenance or irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, and compliance of regulatory issues.

 

There is a team of 20 made up of green keepers, irrigation technicians, mechanics (for golf carts and golf machinery), admin, and inventory controller.

 

A high degree of administrative ability, especially in terms of problem solving and decision making.

Good leadership & communication skills.

Good computer skills (Microsoft suite).

Experience on island. 

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: 20 days’ vacation - Group Medical Insurance and Air Ambulance- Accommodation (all bills and utilities included)- Laundry/ironing once a week- Transportation (Golf Cart)- Lunch (staff canteen)- Sim Card-
