Founded in 1892, Greenwich Country Club was designed by Seth Raynor. LOcated 35 miles Northeast of NYC, GCC is a progressive club dedicated to providing the best playing conditions on a daily basis.
GCC completed two major upgrades to the golf course during the fall of 2018/2019 spring. Rebuilding of all greens transitioned from poa push-up greens to 007 bentgrass, USGA spec greens, surrounds and bunkers took place, along with the installation of a state of the art Rainbird IC irrigation system and pump station.
In the spring of 2020, the club renovated the driving range, to include installation of target greens, fairway, drainage infrastructure, and completion of the IC irrigation system.
Future capital projects call for new maintenance facility, ongoing tree removal program, extensive in-house drainage improvements, fairway conversion program to bentgrass and primary rough conversion to Turf Type Tall Fescue.
