As an intern at Bayside Golf Club you will get experience in all aspects of turf management.  We strive to produce the best possible playing surface we can, through practical and efficient maintenance practices.  You will get hands of knowledge of the following. 

  • Broadcast and spot spraying
  • Topdressing
  • Irrigation repair (PVC)
    • Installation of new Toro Heads
    • Wiring and Satellite Troubleshooting 
  • Aerification
  • Mowing, Rolling, Weedeating, and Raking bunkers
  • Course Set Up
  • Overall Course Improvements 
    • Cart Path renovations
    • On course Restroom additions
    • Course Playability
  • Simple mechanic repairs and reel setup/grinding

We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy golf in its pure form.  We are located on Lake McConaughy and bring that atmosphere to the working environment being relaxed and fun for all.  Flexible start and stop dates with a short growing season.

Additional Salary Information: No overtime wage, you are just paid normal wage on overtime hours.
About Bayside Golf Club
Bayside Golf Club is a family built and family owned public golf course and with the help of Arhitects Dan Proctor and Dave Axeland who had a hand in designing such legends as Sand Hills Golf Club in Mullen, NE and the rebuild of famed Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, CA. Their family’s goal was to design and build a layout that truly showcased how beautiful western Nebraska truly can be; with it’s rolling hills and views of Lake McConaughy. Taking a piece of land best suited to extreme sports, the team of Axland and Proctor turned a property awash in arroyos, ruts, bluffs and truly inhospitable, yet ruggedly beautiful grassland into the rough-and-tumble Bayside.
