Head Golf Mechanic

The Head Golf Mechanic is expected to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain all pieces of turf management equipment to the highest degree of dependability and performance, with the emphasis on precise quality of cut. The Head Golf Mechanic will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Inspects, diagnoses, repairs and maintains all pieces of turf management equipment to the highest degree of dependability and performance with the emphasis on precise quality of cut.

Responsible for the appropriate scheduling of preventative maintenance, prioritized repairs and reel set up

Responsible for overall condition of the golf course maintenance equipment

Maintains continuously updated records of all repairs and time work for each piece of equipment

Troubleshoots all equipment

Strict adherence to precision reel set up procedures

Maintains a clean, well organized shop with safety the highest of priorities

Assists with golf course special projects

Complies with all Sunriver Resort’s policies, procedures and safety regulations

Maintains a strong knowledge of emergency procedures

Attends appropriate resort, division and department meetings

Maintains a strong knowledge of golf maintenance trends

Provides general resort information for guests

Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name when possible & good eye contact with each guest

Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments when necessary

Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude

Communicates all pertinent information to the golf maintenance team

Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards

Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times

Performs other duties as assigned
