Fiddlesticks Country Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for it's newly renovated Loch Ness Course. He or She will work directly under the guidance of the Loch Ness Golf Course Superintendent. The Assistant Superintendent will learn all aspects of TifEagle, TifGrand and Celebration bermudagrass management, to help further his or her career in the turfgrass industry.
Fiddlesticks Country Club is scheduled to host the USGA Women's Mid-Amateur in 2022. This will be a great opportunity to experience course preparation for a USGA event.
Minimum 2-years golf course maintenance experience. Previous supervisor position preferred.
Have (or obtain within 90-days of employment) a Florida Turf & Ornamental Pesticide License.
Have (or obtain within 1-year) a Florida Golf Course - BMP Certificate.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate and work as a team, NOT as an individual.
Basic computer and software knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Applicants must understand they will primarily be working outside under Florida weather environments which may include hot summer days, cold mornings, and rainy conditions.
