Harrison Lake Country Club is nestled in the hills of Columbus, Indiana near Brown County. HLCC features 6,477 yards of golf for a par 72. Designed by Robert Simmons/Gary Kern, the course opened in 1947. HLCC has recently finished a new chipping range, driving range, and has finished phase 1 of 3 in renovating the entire course. HLCC renovations include, new USGA greens, tees, and fairways. New drainage and irrigation, and billy bunker sand traps. The renovation has proven to be a learning experience that is hands on, and considered priceless in the field of Turf Grass Science.
Daily planning, management, and supervision of the golf course maintenance crew.
Assists in planning and supervising the maintenance of greens, tees, and fairways; schedules work and supervises the employees and the use of equipment.
Instructs equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment.
Assists in all chemical applications and/or operates and calibrates chemical application equipment.
Participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
Instructs and/or trains golf course maintenance workers regarding preventative maintenance, the proper cleaning, and safe operation of equipment.
Full Time, year round position.
Will work closely with Superintendent on all renovation projects.

HLCC has recently built a new short range, driving range and is finishing up phase 1 of 3 in a course wide renovation. The renovation includes new usga greens, new fairways and seeding, and billy bunker sand traps. Renovation Architect and design is being done by Tim Liddy, who has developed both as a project architect for Pete Dye as well as solo designs throughout Indiana.
