Crown Colony Golf and Country Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to assist in the management of our 18 hole Seashore Paspalum golf course. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes.
A balanced leadership style that will uphold the strong work ethic of the Golf Maintenance department and promote continual improvement within the team and on the golf course.
Knowledge and experience with fertility and chemical inputs on a Golf Course.
A drive to learn, teach and assist in all aspects of the agronomic plan.
Attention to detail at all times.
Evaluate and execute club safety and training plans.
An ability to communicate clearly and appropriately within and across departments.
Must possess a FL state applicators license or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
Have organizational skills to plan and execute daily, weekly, seasonal plans.
Be capable of overseeing all Golf Course operations in the absence of the Superintendent.
