Oak Hills was built in 1922 by famous architect A.W. Tillinghast, there is rich golf history that we continue to build on. The Assistant Superintendent supervises and participates in the maintenance of all of Oak Hills Country Club which includes clubhouse, practice facilities and 18 hole golf course. Responsible for the daily course maintenance which includes supervision and training of staff, checking daily course conditions, fertilizer applications, among many other activities. The Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and represents all of the team at Oak Hills Country Club.

Oak Hills Country Club is a private golf club in the southern United States, located in San Antonio, Texas. Northwest of downtown, founded in 1922 and designed by renowned architect A.W. Tillinghast.
Oak Hills has hosted a number of PGA Tour events. The inaugural Tour Championship in 1987 at Oak Hills was won by Tom Watson with a dramatic birdie on the 72nd hole. The tour's Texas Open was held at the course twenty-three times between 1961–1994, the AT&T Championship on the Champions Tour nine times (2002–2010), the U.S. Junior Amateur Golf Championship in 2001.
