Colvile's Dominion Meadows Golf Course is an 18-hole course located in Colville, WA, which is about an hours drive north of Spokane WA, in the Northeast corner of the State. We are a rural community of about 5,000 citizens and serve as the County seat and primary retail area for Stevens County.
The course is community-owned and volunteer driven. The original nine was built in 1948 and a second nine was added in 2002. We have an automated sprinkler system using city water supply. Our PGA Pro has been with us for over 25 years.
The original nine greens are poa anna and the newer ones are bent. Tees and fairways are rye and bluegrass. The original holes are a rolling hill with a few trees, the newer nine is a converted hay field with no trees and natural water ponds.
The level of daily traffic is low to medium. The equipment is fairly current and in good shape. Mostly TORO products. Added a 300 gallon sprayer unit this year for liquid product applications.
Looking for skilled and experienced person that can:
Grow and care for tees, greens, fairways and bunkers.
Operate, maintain and make minor repair of golf course equipment and irrigation system.
Work in concert with golf professional to provide the best golf experience possible.
Be able to instruct and direct a group of interested volunteers.
Accept and respond to the direction of a volunteer board of directors and supporting "greens" committee.

Additional Salary Information: Currently no other health benefits outside of state requirements. Season is typically March 1 to October 31. Other winter employment possible or state unemployment benefits.

Colville's Dominion Meadows Golf Course in Northeast Washington State (hour north of Spokane) is in need of a golf course superintendent/greenskeeper beginning in early 2021. We are a rural community of about 5,000 city folks and serve an area of about 20,000 citizens. We have great recreational activities, one being our 18-hole golf course. We are small budget, small staff but offer a great bunch of golf passionate volunteers that care for the course. Salary range $32,000 to $38,000 depending on your experience, for a 8 to 9 month season that ends on October 31st.
