Kelly Greens Golf and Country Club is looking for a Landscape Supervisor, to oversee the Club House and Common Areas. As the landscape supervisor, you would report directly to Director of Golf Course and Grounds. The Landscape Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a pristine and manicured landscape environment to uphold our beautiful community. The Supervisor will be expected to recognize plant and shrub health, replacement, and treatments if necessary, also oversee some outside contractors, and attend Landscape Committee Meetings.
We are a private Country Club and pride ourselves to providing a beautiful Club House and Community for our Members, Residents and Guests.
-Some degree of formal or continued education would be nice but not required.
-Must have a working knowledge of plants, shrubs, trees and general landscaping practices.
-FL Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide and or Lawn and Landscape certification.
-You will be responsible for the design, purchase, planting and continued care of the Club House and Common Areas Landscaping.
-Must be knowledgeable in proper pruning techniques, weeding, plant propagation, hand watering, fertilization and mulching.
-Be able to efficiently assist in supervising landscape staff.
-Ability to communicate effectively with others, Spanish would be helpful.
-Some heavy equipment operation will be required.
-Self-starter with initiative, ability and a vision of what they want to achieve in this position.
-Broad knowledge of plants including ornamental s, annuals, and perennials.
-The ability to work within a budget.
-Monitor for pests and plant diseases.
The Landscape Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining a culture and environment with staff to ensure they have a positive and enthusiastic outlook on their ability to be part of an optimal member experience.
