Grover Cleveland Golf Course is a part of the Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department.
Grover Cleveland Golf Course, located at 3781 Main Street, Amherst, NY 14226, was the site of the 1912 U.S. Open.
THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED FOR THE PERIOD OF JUNE 12, 2020 THROUGH AND INCLUDING JULY 1,2020.
(A) An associate degree in Horticulture or related field and three (3) years of experience in grounds maintenance activities at a golf course, which included the detailed care and upkeep of golf greens; or
(B) Graduate of high school or equivalency diploma and five (5) years of experience in grounds maintenance activities at a golf course; at least two (2) years of which included the detailed care and upkeep of golf greens; or
C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of
(A) and (B)
Candidate must be New York State Certified as a Commercial Pesticide Applicator at time of appointment; and
Possession of a valid New York State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B without airbrake restriction within six (6) months of appointment and throughout subsequent period of employment.
